Sewing 4 Souls

Sewing 4 Souls was developed to minister to all of God's children throughout the world, using the simple gift of clothing. We hope by providing a  physical need, we may be given the opportunity to meet a spiritual need.  

  Sun dresses for ages 2-14 yrs (older girls are so thin that the larger size works for them)
We make boys shorts sizes small, medium, and large.
We buy underwear for boys and girls.
We purchase nice shorts or plain T-shirts for the boys.
Sometimes we have flip-flops, toys, sunglasses, etc to send with clothing.
Handmade items have the "Sewing4Souls" logo inside of each item.
The clothing has a tag on the outside with the logo, opened has the Romans Road of Salvation printed in the language of the country.
So far, we have had the funds for shipping, the largest expense of the operation.
Ladies sewing pray over the dress or shorts being made and for the child that will wear it.
Everything is put into a zip lock bag with the appropriate size marked.

 Ladies are always needed to sew dresses and boys' shorts. We furnish all materials except thread. Ladies take the kits to sew and then return  them for shipping.
 

Ladies form small groups and sew together. You  can sew, press, cut, or package when working together. Some men and  women deliver kits and pick up finished items when traveling between states. S4S will pay cost for shipping clothing back to our central  location in Beaver, WV.
 

Churches, 4-H Groups, schools, and others have organized drives to collect underwear, T-shirts, flip-flops, and small toys.
 

Donated fabric and trims are always needed and appreciated.
 

People have sent funds for shipping and other expenses. 

 This  sewing project began with a single idea, to make as many clothes for  children in third world countries as I was able. That progressed with  many women coming together to donate their time, funds, and sewing  abilities. We now have many churches, organizations, and individuals  working together to accomplish this feat. Now, not only do the children  benefit, but those that are helping to minister have had their own lives  touched. God has continually blessed and met the needs of Sewing 4  Souls, thus helping to spread the message of His love.
